CrossbowHunting.org is a hunter-run reference for crossbow, compound bow, traditional bow and slingshot hunting laws across all 50 US states. Rules for archery equipment vary enormously — some states treat crossbows as full archery tackle, others limit them to firearms seasons or to hunters holding a disability permit — so we organise every state in one consistent format.
How We Research
Each state hub is built from the official state wildlife agency’s published regulations, and every hub links directly to that agency so you can confirm the latest rules. We review states as new regulation digests are released.
